Big hitters from the legal world have thrown their support behind Wimborne Cricket Club.

Dorset law firm Ellis Jones Solicitors – with offices in Wimborne’s East Street – has stepped up to support the side for the sixth consecutive year.

Players from the club’s adults and juniors’ teams are now proudly turning out in kits bearing the business’ name following renewal of the sponsorship deal.

Ellis Jones – with more than 170 staff including 22 Partners – has sponsored Wimborne since 2018.

Wimborne not only fields a Dorset Premier League side, but also has three more senior teams along with evening, Sunday, ladies and 10 youth teams and an under-19s side.

“We are grateful for its support, which has allowed the club to grow on and off the pitch.

Wimborne is also to host a prestigious match when Dorset play Hampshire on Sunday July 30.
