Poole Harbour Festival shows support for Diverse Abilities

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, is the chosen charity for this year’s Poole Harbour Festival.

Taking place at Baiter Park from Friday, July 30, to Sunday, August 1, the festival features headliners Dodgy and Toploader, as well more than 50 live acts including local bands, tribute bands and DJs. Some of the artists playing over the weekend are Brandon Block, Filta, Pronghorn, Saints of Sin, The Guns of Navarone, and Sixteen String Jack.

Ben Dyas, organiser of Poole Harbour Festival, commented: “I am so excited to finally see a return for live music following a really difficult 18 months for the industry. We listened to all the feedback from 2019 and have made some great improvements including adding a third bar, creating a bigger dance tent, more loos, and providing better access to the stages. 2021 is going to be huge so get your tickets now to avoid disappointment.”

The previous event in 2019 sold out, and this year tickets are available in advance at the following price points:
Adult weekend ticket £27
Child weekend ticket £8
Family weekend ticket £45
Day tickets from £13

The festival also offers a day drinks bundle ticket There may also be limited availability on the gate over the course of the weekend if tickets have not already sold out.

Emma Bovey, fundraising manager at Diverse Abilities, added: “We’re all huge fans of live music at Diverse Abilities, both in our teams on the frontline and in the people we support, so it’s great to be able to finally all enjoy this again. We look forward to seeing lots of happy faces over the weekend, so why not come and say hi?”

Ben Dyas continued: “The Diverse Abilities cause means a great deal to myself and the team at Poole Harbour Festival, so it really is fantastic to be supporting them with such a big local event, and we’re really looking forward to working with them on future events too.”
